GAT is owned and operated by Nina Hewell. She has 17 plus years in the public accounting world as well as a background in business ownership. She and her husband have operated a chicken farm for the past 17 years and a successful painting business also during that time.

While working in the public sphere, she handled everything from business financials, payroll, corporate tax, personal tax planning, personal income tax preparation and many other things in between.

She lives on a farm in North Georgia with her husband, two sons, energetic golden doodle, two donkeys, a lot of cows, a whole lot of chickens and the occasional stray or abandoned animal.

Nina graduated from North Georgia College and State University (currently UNG) in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and from Brenau University in 2009 with a Master of Business Administration.

She attends Gillsville Baptist Church where she is an active member of the praise and worship team and serves on the Warrior Council. The Warrior Council oversees the operation of the church’s weekday preschool and K-5 academy.
